AP Morris is proud to announce our 2025 NJ Governor’s Educators of the Year: Ms. Corrothers, First Grade Teacher, and Ms. Kelly, Paraprofessional.
Ms. Corrothers is a dynamic instructional leader who creates individualized learning experiences that inspire her students each day. She actively collaborates with colleagues and initiates innovative projects that enrich learning for the entire school community. She has taken part in multiple Science Pilot Programs and welcomed NJDOE visitors to highlight her class’s work with Earth Friends and climate change. She leads our annual Black History Month performances and even opens her classroom for visiting hours so students from across the school can engage with her class pets. Her students often share how much she cares for them and how she makes every day a new learning adventure.
Ms. Kelly, our Educational Services Professional of the Year, is a steadfast and dedicated paraprofessional who goes above and beyond to support students and staff alike. She is known for jumping in wherever she is needed, providing compassionate care, consistent support, and a positive presence throughout the school day.
Together, these outstanding educators exemplify excellence, collaboration, and a deep commitment to our students. Congratulations to both of our honorees!
